About Assist and Throttle

The 5 Levels of pedal assistance (PAS) are easily controlled from the switch that mounted on the bar and intergrated into the LCD multifunction display. The ‘on demand’ thumb throttle can be engaged at any time to provide a power boost without the need to pedal. Both sets of controls are located conveniently on the handlebar for easy access at all times while hands stay securely placed on the grips.

Pedal assist and throttle controls are sized and placed to provide maximum accessibility and comfort.

If you set the PAS to ‘0’, the bike can be ridden as a ‘traditional’ bike. In this mode the battery will only provide power to the lights and multifunction display allowing you to ride fully under your own steam whenever you desire.

The Multifunction Display

The LCD backlit display located on the handlebar center acts as your ‘in ride’ dashboard, providing all the essential information about your speed and bike performance as well as light controls and diagnostic information for the bikes electronic components.

The display has an integrated USB charging port that can be used to conveniently charge electrical devices such as a mobile phon.

The Battery and Motor

Our BAFANG motor has been configured to perform at the highest level legally permitted on Canadian roads. (500w 32km/h) The brushless motor is exceptionally efficient and smooth – maximizing power transfer and minimize power loss.

Power is provided by a 615Wh Samsung battery that is seamlessly integrated within the natural shape of the bike frame. The battery locks securely into the bike and is simply removable using the keys provided; no special or additional tools required. For your convenience, the battery can be charged on or off the bike.
